Attorney Marjorie Brunelli was born in Brazil where she attended the Universidade Catolica de Goias (Catholic University of Goias – School of Law), and obtained her law degree in 1999. In that same year, she immigrated to the United States. Ms. Brunelli began her career in the legal field as a paralegal in 2001. Until 2006, she assisted some of the best litigation attorneys in South Florida.
In 2006, Ms. Brunelli entered the Juris Doctor program at Nova Southeastern University as a foreign attorney. While attending law school, she held summer clerkships handling matters in Family Law and Landlord Tenant Law. She was a member and treasurer for the Foreign Lawyers Association, where she organized and participated in numerous meetings with lawyers from various Latin America countries to discuss economic and political developments within those countries, and how they contributed to the development of relations between Latin and North America.
Since being admitted to the Florida Bar in 2009, Ms. Brunelli has represented some of the largest national financial banking institutions in litigation matters throughout the State of Florida, including Bank of America and Wells Fargo. Her current practice focuses primarily on Family Law and Business Law and related Probate and Real Estate issues.
Ms. Brunelli is admitted to the practice of law in Florida and the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida. She is fluent in Portuguese and has been representing the Brazilian community in South Florida in a variety of legal matters. Her ability to fully understand their culture and speak their language facilitates communication and leads to successful outcomes in their cases. On a more personal level, Marjorie is passionate about traveling and experiencing different cultures, enjoys the outdoors, is an avid reader, plays golf, loves the beach, and strives to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle.
